I run the org and still sit in the code.

An engineering leader who has led teams at Unity Technologies, Siteimprove, and VML MAP - on products serving tens of millions of users. I help companies move AI from pilot to production, and write code alongside them. I also mentor the engineers and managers behind the work.

About

More than a decade running engineering orgs, and still in the code. The rare combination is the whole point.

I'm an engineering leader based in Copenhagen. I've been building software since 2013 and leading teams for more than a decade - as an Engineering Manager at Unity Technologies and Siteimprove, and Director of Software Engineering at VML MAP - across products and platforms serving tens of millions of users. I've also kept shipping: chartjs-php, a PHP wrapper for Chart.js I built and released, runs across 100,000+ installs.

My focus sits where technical depth meets business impact: restructuring organizations, cutting time-to-market, modernizing architecture, and bringing AI into how teams actually work. Most teams have run the AI experiments by now. Few have it reliably in the development loop six months later - embedded agentic workflows, the agent guides your team works from (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md), reusable skills, and the org changes that make any of it stick. That gap is where I do my best work, and I bring it to companies and the engineers growing into leaders alongside them.

Services - How I can help

01

AI Adoption

Most teams have run the experiments. Few have AI reliably in the development loop six months later. I close that gap: agentic workflows your engineers keep using, the agent guides that hold your team's institutional knowledge, and reusable skills that make the tooling stick. I code alongside your team to lead by example and show what good looks like - not hand over a slide deck about what AI could do.

02

Technical Strategy

When the architecture and the roadmap pull in different directions, delivery slows and nobody can say why. I bring them back in line: the trade-offs, the sequencing, and the modernization calls that cut time-to-market and still hold up as you scale.

03

Product Development

The risk isn't shipping slowly. It's shipping the wrong thing quickly. I sit between engineering and product from discovery to launch so the team builds what matters, with less rework and a clearer line to the outcome.

04

Mentoring

For engineers and managers working out where their leverage lives now that AI writes the first draft. Drawn from more than a decade of leading teams: sharper judgement, more influence, and a clearer read on the organizational calls that don't have a clean answer.

Engagements are scoped to where the leverage is - advisory, fractional, or embedded in the work. I keep them small so the work stays meaningful.
